Bruce A. Young studied at St. Edward’s University in Texas and received his master’s degree at Illinois State University. While a student there, he won the Irene Ryan Award for Acting Excellence at the Midwest Regional America College Theatre Festival. His began his professional career in Chicago as a member of the city’s Organic Theater Company under the direction of Stuart Gordon.
